Cirrus
Motivated by our monotonous view on adulthood, Cirrus challenges this perspective; encouraging audiences to disconnect from the anxiety and uniformity of life. Kinetic sculptures built from moments of joy strung together with flora build an introspective environment deeply connected to the natural world.
Cirrus facilitates the act of reflection and stillness supporting audiences in contemplating their place in the world of things. Inspired by their own moments of reflection, Marshall Gray investigates our connection to the world around us. It's quiet grandeur offers a shift in perspective, enabling us to see the often-insignificant nature of our worries.
Through the integration of projection, photography and instrumentation within a curated space, this intimate experience enables the viewer to explore their relationship with the world around them.
Cirrus has grown to be a love letter to all that helped me persevere through my technical production degree.
